About Surah Al-An'am
Surah Al-An'am is the sixth chapter of the Qur'an and contains 165 Ayahs. It is a Makki Surah that strongly emphasizes the Oneness of Allah, His power over creation, the truth of revelation, and accountability before Him. The Surah challenges the beliefs of those who associate partners with Allah and reminds people to recognize His signs in the heavens, the earth, and within their own lives. It also discusses Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام, the Prophets, lawful and unlawful matters, and false customs concerning cattle.

۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ جَنَّٰتٖ مَّعۡرُوشَٰتٖ وَغَيۡرَ مَعۡرُوشَٰتٖ وَٱلنَّخۡلَ وَٱلزَّرۡعَ مُخۡتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُۥ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَٰبِهٗا وَغَيۡرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٖۚ كُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثۡمَرَ وَءَاتُواْ حَقَّهُۥ يَوۡمَ حَصَادِهِۦۖ وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
English Meaning
He is the One who created gardens, crops, date palms, olives, and pomegranates, with different kinds and qualities. Eat from their fruits when they produce, give their due on the day of harvest, and do not be wasteful. Allah does not love those who are excessive.
Urdu Meaning
وہی ہے جس نے باغات، کھجوریں، مختلف فصلیں، زیتون اور انار پیدا کیے۔ جب ان کے پھل آئیں تو ان میں سے کھاؤ، اور فصل کے دن ان کا حق ادا کرو، اور فضول خرچی نہ کرو۔ بے شک اللہ فضول خرچی کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔
Explanation
Allah reminds people that their food and agricultural resources are blessings from Him. These blessings should be enjoyed responsibly, while their rightful due is also given and wastefulness is avoided.
وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ حَمُولَةٗ وَفَرۡشٗاۚ كُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ
English Meaning
Among livestock are animals suitable for carrying loads and others of different sizes and uses. Eat from what Allah has provided for you, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. He is clearly your enemy.
Urdu Meaning
اور مویشیوں میں کچھ بوجھ اٹھانے والے ہیں اور کچھ دوسرے کاموں کے لیے ہیں۔ اللہ کے دیے ہوئے رزق میں سے کھاؤ اور شیطان کے قدموں کی پیروی نہ کرو، بے شک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے۔
Explanation
Allah reminds people of the practical benefits of livestock and allows them to benefit from His provision. At the same time, believers are warned not to let Satan lead them away from Allah's commands.
ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزۡوَٰجٖۖ مِّنَ ٱلضَّأۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡمَعۡزِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَآلذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۖ نَبِّـُٔونِي بِعِلۡمٍ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
English Meaning
There are eight categories of livestock pairs, including two from sheep and two from goats. Ask them: Has Allah forbidden the two males, the two females, or what the wombs of the females contain? Bring your evidence if you are truthful.
Urdu Meaning
آٹھ قسم کے جوڑے ہیں، بھیڑ میں سے دو اور بکری میں سے دو۔ کہہ دیجیے: کیا اللہ نے دونوں نر حرام کیے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ، یا وہ جو دونوں ماداؤں کے رحم میں ہے؟ اگر تم سچے ہو تو علم اور دلیل کے ساتھ مجھے بتاؤ۔
Explanation
The verse challenges people who invented dietary restrictions without revelation. Allah calls them to provide knowledge and evidence rather than making unsupported religious claims.
وَمِنَ ٱلۡإِبِلِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَآلذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۖ أَمۡ كُنتُمۡ شُهَدَآءَ إِذۡ وَصَّىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَاۖ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا لِّيُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
English Meaning
And among camels and cattle there are also pairs. Ask them whether the males, females, or what the females carry have been forbidden. Were they witnesses when Allah commanded this? Who is more unjust than someone who invents a lie against Allah to mislead people without knowledge? Allah does not guide wrongdoing people.
Urdu Meaning
اور اونٹوں اور گایوں میں بھی دو دو جوڑے ہیں۔ پوچھو: کیا اللہ نے دونوں نر حرام کیے ہیں یا دونوں مادہ، یا وہ جو ماداؤں کے رحم میں ہے؟ کیا تم اس وقت موجود تھے جب اللہ نے یہ حکم دیا تھا؟ اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے تاکہ لوگوں کو بغیر علم کے گمراہ کرے؟
Explanation
Allah strongly condemns inventing religious rulings and falsely attributing them to Him. Religious authority must never be based on personal speculation.
قُل لَّآ أَجِدُ فِي مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٖ يَطۡعَمُهُۥٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَكُونَ مَيۡتَةً أَوۡ دَمٗا مَّسۡفُوحًا أَوۡ لَحۡمَ خِنزِيرٖ فَإِنَّهُۥ رِجۡسٌ أَوۡ فِسۡقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦۚ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ غَيۡرَ بَاغٖ وَلَا عَادٖ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
English Meaning
Say, “I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to eat except carrion, flowing blood, pork, or an animal dedicated to other than Allah.” But whoever is compelled by genuine necessity, without deliberately seeking or exceeding the need, will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

کہہ دیجیے کہ جو وحی میری طرف کی گئی ہے اس میں میں کسی کھانے والے کے لیے کوئی چیز حرام نہیں پاتا، سوائے مردار، بہتا ہوا خون، خنزیر کا گوشت، یا وہ جانور جس پر اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کا نام لیا گیا ہو۔ پھر جو شخص مجبوری میں ہو، نہ خواہش سے اور نہ حد سے بڑھتے ہوئے، تو بے شک اللہ بخشنے والا، رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
Explanation
The verse identifies specific prohibited foods in the context of this passage and also recognizes genuine necessity. Allah's law combines obedience with mercy.
وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمۡنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٖۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ وَٱلۡغَنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ شُحُومَهُمَآ إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُهُورُهُمَآ أَوِ ٱلۡحَوَايَآ أَوۡ مَا ٱخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِبَغۡيِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ
English Meaning
For those who followed Judaism, We prohibited certain animals and some fats from cattle and sheep, except what was carried on their backs, in their organs, or attached to bones. This was a consequence of their wrongdoing, and Allah is truthful.
Urdu Meaning
اور یہودیوں پر ہم نے بعض جانوروں کو حرام کیا اور گائے اور بھیڑ کی بعض چربی بھی، سوائے اس کے جو ان کی پشت، آنتوں یا ہڈیوں سے ملی ہوئی ہو۔ یہ ان کی سرکشی کے سبب ان کے لیے مقرر کیا گیا تھا، اور بے شک ہم سچے ہیں۔
Explanation
The verse refers to specific dietary restrictions imposed upon the Children of Israel. It presents these restrictions in the context of their wrongdoing and Allah's judgment.
فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل رَّبُّكُمۡ ذُو رَحۡمَةٖ وَٰسِعَةٖ وَحِيلَ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
English Meaning
If they reject you, say, “Your Lord possesses vast mercy, but His punishment cannot be turned away from those who persist in wrongdoing.”
Urdu Meaning
پھر اگر وہ آپ کو جھٹلائیں تو کہہ دیجیے: تمہارا رب بڑی وسیع رحمت والا ہے، لیکن مجرم لوگوں سے اس کا عذاب ٹالا نہیں جاسکتا۔
Explanation
Allah's mercy is vast, but mercy should not be misunderstood as permission to persist in wrongdoing without consequences.
سَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكۡنَا وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُواْ بَأۡسَنَاۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ عِندَكُم مِّنۡ عِلۡمٖ فَتُخۡرِجُوهُ لَنَآۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَخۡرُصُونَ
English Meaning
Those who associate partners with Allah will say, “If Allah had willed, we would not have committed Shirk, nor would our ancestors, nor would we have declared anything forbidden.” Those before them made similar claims until they experienced the consequences. Say, “Do you have any knowledge you can produce?” They follow only assumptions and make unsupported claims.
Urdu Meaning
مشرک لوگ کہیں گے کہ اگر اللہ چاہتا تو نہ ہم شرک کرتے، نہ ہمارے آباؤ اجداد، اور نہ ہم کسی چیز کو حرام کرتے۔ ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی یہی بات کہی تھی یہاں تک کہ انہوں نے ہمارے عذاب کا مزہ چکھا۔ کہہ دیجیے: کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی علم ہے جسے تم ہمارے سامنے پیش کرو؟ تم صرف گمان کی پیروی کرتے ہو اور محض اندازے لگاتے ہو۔
Explanation
The verse rejects using Allah's will as an excuse for deliberate wrongdoing. Knowing that Allah has power over all things does not remove human responsibility for choices.
قُلۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحُجَّةُ ٱلۡبَٰلِغَةُۖ فَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
English Meaning
Say, “Allah has the decisive argument. Had He willed, He could have guided all of you.”
Urdu Meaning
کہہ دیجیے: کامل اور فیصلہ کن دلیل اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے۔ اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب کو ہدایت دے دیتا۔
Explanation
Allah possesses complete knowledge and the decisive proof. Human beings should respond to His guidance rather than trying to justify their rejection.
قُلۡ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَٰذَاۖ فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَلَا تَشۡهَدۡ مَعَهُمۡۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ يَعۡدِلُونَ
English Meaning
Say, “Bring your witnesses who claim that Allah has forbidden this.” Even if they testify, do not agree with them. Do not follow the desires of those who reject Our signs, deny the Hereafter, and set up equals with their Lord.
Urdu Meaning
کہہ دیجیے: اپنے ان گواہوں کو لاؤ جو گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے یہ چیز حرام کی ہے۔ اگر وہ گواہی دیں تب بھی تم ان کے ساتھ گواہی نہ دینا۔ اور ان لوگوں کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کرنا جو ہماری آیات کو جھٹلاتے، آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور اپنے رب کے برابر دوسروں کو ٹھہراتے ہیں۔
Explanation
Allah teaches believers to distinguish between genuine revelation and claims based on personal desires. Religious rulings must be established by authentic authority, not unsupported testimony.
قُلۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ أَتۡلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ أَلَّا تُشۡرِكُواْ بِهِۦ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنٗاۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَكُم مِّنۡ إِمۡلَٰقٖۖ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكُمۡ وَإِيَّاهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ ٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَۖ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُواْ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ
English Meaning
Say, “Come, I will recite what your Lord has forbidden: do not associate anything with Him; be good to parents; do not kill your children because of poverty—we provide for you and them; do not approach immoral acts, whether open or hidden; and do not take a life that Allah has made sacred except with due right.” These are Allah's instructions so that you may understand.
Urdu Meaning
کہہ دیجیے: آؤ میں تمہیں وہ چیزیں پڑھ کر سناؤں جو تمہارے رب نے حرام کی ہیں: اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو، والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرو، غربت کے خوف سے اپنی اولاد کو قتل نہ کرو، ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دیتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی، کھلی اور چھپی بے حیائی کے قریب نہ جاؤ، اور اس جان کو ناحق قتل نہ کرو جسے اللہ نے محترم قرار دیا ہے۔ یہی اللہ نے تمہیں حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھو۔
Explanation
This verse presents foundational moral commands: Tawheed, kindness to parents, protection of children, avoidance of immorality, and protection of human life.
وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۖ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُواْۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
English Meaning
Do not approach the property of an orphan except in the best manner until they reach maturity. Give full measure and weight with justice. When you speak, be just even if the matter concerns a close relative, and fulfill your covenant with Allah.
Urdu Meaning
اور یتیم کے مال کے قریب نہ جاؤ مگر بہترین طریقے سے، یہاں تک کہ وہ بالغ ہوجائے۔ ناپ اور تول انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کرو۔ جب بات کرو تو انصاف کرو خواہ معاملہ کسی قریبی رشتہ دار ہی کا ہو، اور اللہ کے عہد کو پورا کرو۔ یہی اللہ نے تمہیں حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو۔
Explanation
Allah combines financial honesty with truthful speech and keeping promises. Justice must be maintained even when personal relationships or interests are involved.
وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِي مُسۡتَقِيمٗا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
English Meaning
This is My straight path, so follow it. Do not follow other paths, as they will separate you from His way. This is what He commands so that you may develop Taqwa.
Urdu Meaning
اور بے شک یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے، پس اسی کی پیروی کرو، اور دوسرے راستوں کی پیروی نہ کرو ورنہ وہ تمہیں اس کے راستے سے جدا کردیں گے۔ یہی اللہ نے تمہیں حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم تقویٰ اختیار کرو۔
Explanation
Allah's guidance is described as one straight path, while conflicting paths can lead people away from His guidance. The verse calls believers to remain firmly connected to revelation.
ثُمَّ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡسَنَ وَتَفۡصِيلٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
English Meaning
Then We gave Musa the Scripture as a completion of Our favor upon those who did good, explaining matters, and providing guidance and mercy, so that they might believe in meeting their Lord.
Urdu Meaning
پھر ہم نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو کتاب عطا کی، نیکوکاروں پر نعمت کی تکمیل کے لیے، ہر ضروری معاملے کی وضاحت، ہدایت اور رحمت کے طور پر، تاکہ وہ اپنے رب سے ملاقات پر ایمان لائیں۔
Explanation
Allah reminds people that earlier revelation was also a source of guidance and mercy. Revelation prepares people to live rightly and believe in accountability before Allah.
وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُواْ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
English Meaning
This is a blessed Book We have revealed, so follow it and be mindful of Allah, so that you may receive mercy.
Urdu Meaning
اور یہ ایک بابرکت کتاب ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا، پس اس کی پیروی کرو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے۔
Explanation
The Qur'an is described as blessed, and believers are instructed not merely to read it but to follow its guidance.
أَن تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغَٰفِلِينَ
English Meaning
This Book was revealed so that you could not say, “The Scripture was only sent down to two groups before us, and we were unaware of what they studied.”
Urdu Meaning
یہ کتاب اس لیے نازل کی گئی تاکہ تم یہ نہ کہو کہ ہم سے پہلے صرف دو گروہوں پر کتاب نازل ہوئی تھی اور ہم ان کے مطالعے اور تعلیم سے بے خبر تھے۔
Explanation
The Qur'an removes excuses for people who might claim that divine guidance was inaccessible to them. Allah provided clear guidance through the Qur'an.
أَوۡ تَقُولُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمۡۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٞۖ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡهَاۗ سَنَجۡزِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَصۡدِفُونَ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡدِفُونَ
English Meaning
Nor could you say, “If a Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than them.” A clear proof, guidance, and mercy have now come to you from your Lord. Who then is more unjust than one who rejects Allah's signs and turns away from them?
Urdu Meaning
اور یہ بھی نہ کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ ہدایت یافتہ ہوتے۔ پس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس واضح دلیل، ہدایت اور رحمت آچکی ہے۔ اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ موڑے؟
Explanation
The Qur'an is presented as clear evidence, guidance, and mercy. Once this guidance reaches a person, deliberately turning away from it is a serious matter.
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَۗ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِي بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفۡسًا إِيمَٰنُهَا لَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَامَنَتۡ مِن قَبۡلُ أَوۡ كَسَبَتۡ فِيٓ إِيمَٰنِهَا خَيۡرٗاۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ
English Meaning
Are they waiting for angels to come to them, or for certain signs of their Lord to appear? On the Day when some of those signs appear, faith will not benefit a person who had not believed before or had not done good through their faith. Say, “Wait then; we are waiting.”

کیا وہ اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان کے پاس فرشتے آئیں، یا تمہارا رب آئے، یا تمہارے رب کی بعض نشانیاں آجائیں؟ جس دن اس کی بعض نشانیاں آجائیں گی، اس وقت اس شخص کا ایمان فائدہ نہیں دے گا جو پہلے ایمان نہیں لایا تھا یا اپنے ایمان کے ساتھ نیک عمل نہیں کیا تھا۔ کہہ دیجیے: تم انتظار کرو، ہم بھی انتظار کرتے ہیں۔

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعٗا لَّسۡتَ مِنۡهُمۡ فِي شَيۡءٍۚ إِنَّمَآ أَمۡرُهُمۡ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

Those who divided their religion and became factions—you have nothing to do with their divisions. Their matter is with Allah, and He will inform them of what they used to do.

بے شک جن لوگوں نے اپنے دین کو تقسیم کردیا اور گروہوں میں بٹ گئے، آپ کا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔ ان کا معاملہ اللہ کے سپرد ہے، پھر وہ انہیں ان کے اعمال سے آگاہ کرے گا۔

The verse warns against turning religion into factions and divisions. Final judgment belongs to Allah, who knows the reality of people's beliefs and actions.
مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ عَشۡرُ أَمۡثَالِهَاۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثۡلَهَا وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ
English Meaning
Whoever comes with a good deed will receive ten times its reward, while whoever comes with an evil deed will be repaid only with its equivalent. No one will be wronged.

جو شخص ایک نیکی لے کر آئے گا اسے اس جیسی دس نیکیوں کا اجر ملے گا، اور جو برائی لے کر آئے گا اسے صرف اسی کے برابر بدلہ دیا جائے گا، اور ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
Explanation
This verse highlights Allah's generosity and justice. Good deeds are multiplied, while evil is not multiplied beyond its equivalent.
