Explanation
This Ayah emphasizes that true guidance comes from Allah and leads to the straight path of sincere worship and obedience. Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام is presented as an example of pure devotion to Allah and rejection of Shirk.
English Meaning
Say: Surely my Prayer, my acts of worship and sacrifice, my life, and my death are all devoted to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.
Explanation
This powerful Ayah teaches complete devotion to Allah. Worship is not limited to specific acts; a believer should seek Allah's pleasure throughout life and dedicate every aspect of life to Him.
English Meaning
He has no partner. I have been commanded to follow this, and I am among the foremost in submitting to Allah.
Explanation
The verse confirms the central principle of Tawheed: Allah has no partner. The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to live upon this belief and demonstrate complete submission to Allah.
English Meaning
Say: Should I seek a lord other than Allah when He is the Lord of everything? Every soul is responsible for what it earns, and no one will carry the burden of another. Then you will all return to your Lord, and He will inform you about the matters over which you differed.
Explanation
This Ayah establishes Allah's complete lordship and individual accountability. Each person is responsible for their own deeds, while the final judgment and resolution of disputes belong to Allah.
Explanation
Allah reminds people that differences in abilities, opportunities, wealth, and circumstances are tests. These blessings should be used responsibly, with gratitude and obedience, while remembering both Allah's justice and His mercy.
