أُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ عَنْهَا مَحِيصًا
English Meaning
Such people will have Hell as their destination, and they will find no way to escape from it.
Urdu Meaning
ایسے لوگوں کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے اور وہ اس سے بچنے کی کوئی جگہ نہیں پائیں گے۔
Explanation
This verse continues the warning against following Satan and being deceived by his promises. Those who knowingly choose his path will face the consequences.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًا
English Meaning
Those who believe and do righteous deeds will be admitted into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, remaining there forever. This is Allah’s true promise, and whose word could be more truthful than Allah’s?

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال کیے ہم انہیں ایسے باغات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ یہ اللہ کا سچا وعدہ ہے، اور اللہ سے بڑھ کر بات میں سچا کون ہے؟
Explanation
Allah contrasts Satan’s false promises with His own true promise. Faith combined with righteous actions leads to eternal reward.
لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَا أَمَانِيِّ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ ۗ مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
English Meaning
It will not happen according to your wishes or the wishes of the People of the Book. Whoever does evil will face its consequence and will find no protector or helper besides Allah.
Urdu Meaning
یہ تمہاری خواہشوں اور اہلِ کتاب کی خواہشوں کے مطابق نہیں ہوگا۔ جو شخص برائی کرے گا اسے اس کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا، اور وہ اللہ کے سوا نہ کوئی حمایتی پائے گا نہ مددگار۔
Explanation
Salvation is not based simply on claims, hopes, or belonging to a particular group. A person's actions and relationship with Allah matter.
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا
English Meaning
Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer, will enter Paradise and will not be wronged even by the smallest amount.
Urdu Meaning
اور جو شخص نیک اعمال کرے، خواہ مرد ہو یا عورت، اور وہ مومن ہو، تو ایسے لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے اور ان پر ذرہ بھر بھی ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
Explanation
Allah makes clear that righteous deeds and reward are not restricted by gender. Every sincere believer is accountable and rewarded fairly.
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۗ وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا
English Meaning
Who could have a better way of life than one who submits himself to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Ibrahim, inclining toward pure monotheism? Allah chose Ibrahim as a close friend.
Urdu Meaning
اور دین کے اعتبار سے اس شخص سے بہتر کون ہو سکتا ہے جس نے اپنے آپ کو اللہ کے سپرد کر دیا، نیکی اختیار کی اور ابراہیم کے طریقے کی پیروی کی جو یکسو تھے؟ اور اللہ نے ابراہیم کو اپنا خلیل بنایا۔
Explanation
This verse describes true submission to Allah through faith, righteous conduct, and sincere devotion to Tawheed, following the example of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا
English Meaning
To Allah belongs everything in the heavens and everything on the earth. Allah encompasses all things.
Urdu Meaning
اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اللہ ہی کا ہے، اور اللہ ہر چیز کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔
Explanation
Everything belongs to Allah and remains completely within His knowledge and authority.
وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَن تَقُومُوا لِلْيَتَامَىٰ بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًا
English Meaning
They ask you about women. Say that Allah gives you guidance concerning them, including the rights of orphan girls whose prescribed rights are not given to them, and the rights of vulnerable children. Allah commands you to deal with orphans with justice. Whatever good you do, Allah knows it.

اور لوگ آپ سے عورتوں کے بارے میں فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں۔ کہہ دیجیے کہ اللہ تمہیں ان کے بارے میں حکم دیتا ہے، اور وہ احکام بھی جو کتاب میں تمہیں ان یتیم عورتوں کے بارے میں سنائے جاتے ہیں جنہیں تم ان کے مقررہ حقوق نہیں دیتے اور ان سے نکاح کی خواہش رکھتے ہو، نیز کمزور بچوں کے بارے میں اور یہ کہ یتیموں کے ساتھ انصاف پر قائم رہو۔ اور تم جو نیکی کرو گے اللہ اسے جانتا ہے۔
Explanation
The verse emphasizes justice toward women, orphan girls, and vulnerable children. Their rights must not be neglected or taken advantage of.
وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا ۚ وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ ۗ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ۚ وَإِن تُحْسِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
English Meaning
If a woman fears neglect or rejection from her husband, there is no blame upon the two if they reach a fair agreement between themselves. Reconciliation is better. People naturally have tendencies toward selfishness, but if you act with goodness and consciousness of Allah, Allah is aware of what you do.

اور اگر کسی عورت کو اپنے شوہر کی طرف سے بے رخی یا دوری کا اندیشہ ہو تو دونوں کے درمیان صلح کر لینے میں کوئی گناہ نہیں۔ اور صلح بہتر ہے۔ اور دلوں میں بخل موجود رہتا ہے۔ اگر تم اچھا سلوک کرو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تو بے شک اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے باخبر ہے۔
Explanation
The verse recognizes difficulties that can arise in marriage and encourages fair reconciliation where possible. It also warns against selfishness.
وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَن تَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ ۚ وَإِن تُصْلِحُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Meaning
You will never be able to achieve complete equality of feeling between wives, even if you try. So do not incline completely toward one and leave another neglected. If you act rightly and remain mindful of Allah, He is Ever-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

اور تم ہرگز عورتوں کے درمیان مکمل برابری نہ کر سکو گے، خواہ کتنی ہی کوشش کرو، لہٰذا ایک ہی طرف بالکل نہ جھک جاؤ کہ دوسری کو معلق چھوڑ دو۔ اور اگر اصلاح کرو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تو بے شک اللہ بخشنے والا، رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
Explanation
The verse distinguishes between feelings, which a person may not completely control, and outward treatment, where justice and responsibility are required.
وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ اللَّهُ كُلًّا مِّن سَعَتِهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ وَاسِعًا حَكِيمًا
English Meaning
If the two separate, Allah can provide for each of them from His abundance. Allah is All-Encompassing and Wise.
Urdu Meaning
اور اگر دونوں جدا ہو جائیں تو اللہ اپنی وسعت سے ہر ایک کو بے نیاز کر دے گا۔ اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا، حکمت والا ہے۔
Explanation
When reconciliation is no longer possible, separation does not mean that a person is abandoned by Allah. His provision and wisdom are greater than any one relationship.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَإِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًا
English Meaning
Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. We instructed those who received the Scripture before you, as well as you, to be mindful of Allah. If you disbelieve, Allah is not in need of you; everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him. He is Self-Sufficient and Praiseworthy.
Urdu Meaning
اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اللہ ہی کا ہے۔ اور ہم نے ان لوگوں کو بھی جنہیں تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی اور تمہیں بھی حکم دیا کہ اللہ سے ڈرو۔ اور اگر تم کفر کرو تو اللہ کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے۔ اور اللہ بے نیاز، قابلِ حمد ہے۔
Explanation
The central command is Taqwa—remaining conscious of Allah. Allah does not depend on human obedience; people are the ones who need Him.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
English Meaning
Everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a Guardian and Trustee.
Urdu Meaning
اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اللہ ہی کا ہے، اور اللہ ہی کافی کارساز ہے۔
Explanation
Allah owns everything and is sufficient for those who place their trust in Him.
إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرًا
English Meaning
If He wills, He can remove you, O people, and replace you with others. Allah has full power to do so.
Urdu Meaning
اے لوگو! اگر اللہ چاہے تو تمہیں ختم کر دے اور دوسروں کو لے آئے، اور اللہ اس پر پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
Explanation
Human beings should not become arrogant about their position. Allah can replace one generation with another and remains completely independent.
مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا
English Meaning
Whoever desires the reward of this world should know that with Allah are the rewards of this world and the Hereafter. Allah is All-Hearing and All-Seeing.
Urdu Meaning
جو شخص دنیا کا اجر چاہتا ہے تو اللہ کے پاس دنیا اور آخرت دونوں کا اجر ہے، اور اللہ خوب سننے والا، خوب دیکھنے والا ہے۔
Explanation
Allah reminds people not to limit their goals to worldly success. The best reward includes both this life and the Hereafter.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَن تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِن تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
English Meaning
Believers, stand firmly for justice and bear witness for Allah, even if it is against yourselves, your parents, or relatives. Whether someone is rich or poor, Allah knows what is best for them. Do not follow personal desires and abandon justice. Allah is fully aware of what you do.

اے ایمان والو! انصاف پر مضبوطی سے قائم رہو اور اللہ کے لیے گواہی دو، خواہ وہ گواہی خود تمہارے خلاف ہو یا والدین اور رشتہ داروں کے خلاف۔ کوئی امیر ہو یا غریب، اللہ دونوں کا زیادہ خیر خواہ ہے۔ پس خواہشِ نفس کی پیروی نہ کرو کہ انصاف سے ہٹ جاؤ۔ اور اگر تم بات کو گھماؤ یا گواہی سے منہ موڑو تو اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے باخبر ہے۔
Explanation
This is one of the Qur’an’s strongest commands concerning justice. Personal relationships, wealth, poverty, and personal desires must not cause a person to abandon truth.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا
English Meaning
Believers, believe firmly in Allah, His Messenger, the Book He revealed to His Messenger, and the Scriptures revealed before. Whoever rejects Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, or the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ، اس کے رسول، اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے رسول پر نازل کی، اور ان کتابوں پر جو اس نے پہلے نازل کیں ایمان لاؤ۔ اور جو اللہ، اس کے فرشتوں، اس کی کتابوں، اس کے رسولوں اور آخرت کے دن کا انکار کرے وہ بہت دور کی گمراہی میں جا پڑا۔
Explanation
This verse summarizes essential elements of Islamic faith: Allah, His angels, His revealed Books, His messengers, and the Last Day.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَّمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلًا
English Meaning
Those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe again, then disbelieve, and continue increasing in disbelief—Allah will not forgive them while they persist in that state, nor guide them to a path.
Urdu Meaning
بے شک جو لوگ ایمان لائے پھر کافر ہوئے، پھر ایمان لائے پھر کافر ہوئے، پھر کفر میں بڑھتے گئے، اللہ نہ انہیں بخشے گا اور نہ انہیں کوئی راستہ دکھائے گا۔
Explanation
The verse warns against repeatedly turning away from faith and continuing deeper into rejection. It describes a persistent state rather than sincere repentance followed by return to Allah.
بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
English Meaning
Give the hypocrites the news that they will face a painful punishment.
Urdu Meaning
منافقوں کو خبر دے دو کہ ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے۔
Explanation
Hypocrisy is severely condemned because it presents an outward appearance of faith while concealing rejection or betrayal.
الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا
English Meaning
Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of believers seek honor and strength through them. But all honor and power belong to Allah.
Urdu Meaning
وہ لوگ جو مومنوں کے بجائے کافروں کو دوست اور حامی بناتے ہیں، کیا وہ ان کے پاس عزت تلاش کرتے ہیں؟ بے شک تمام عزت اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔
Explanation
The verse warns believers against seeking their ultimate dignity and strength by abandoning their faith and loyalty. True honor ultimately comes from Allah.
وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا
English Meaning
It has already been revealed to you that when you hear Allah’s verses being rejected or mocked, do not remain in such a gathering until they move to another subject. Otherwise, by remaining there approvingly, you share responsibility for tolerating such conduct. Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers together in Hell.

اور اللہ نے کتاب میں تم پر یہ حکم نازل کر دیا ہے کہ جب تم سنو کہ اللہ کی آیات کا انکار کیا جا رہا ہے یا ان کا مذاق اڑایا جا رہا ہے تو ان لوگوں کے ساتھ نہ بیٹھو جب تک وہ کسی دوسری بات میں مشغول نہ ہو جائیں۔ ورنہ تم بھی ان جیسے ہو جاؤ گے۔ بے شک اللہ منافقوں اور کافروں سب کو جہنم میں جمع کرنے والا ہے۔
Explanation
The verse teaches believers not to willingly remain in gatherings where Allah’s revelation is mocked. The instruction is about refusing to participate in or approve of such behavior.
